7 Reasons American Men Love Longvadon's New Classic Series Bands For The Apple Watch

By Greg King

Even in 2022 there still doesn't seem to exist any serious option for American Apple Watch owners who want a stylish, quality leather band for their Apple Watch without having to resort to buying a cheap short-lasting knock-off or paying hundreds of dollars for the somewhat dull Apple partner bands.

That of course was until Longvadon came along, the brand that has completely changed the game with their gorgeous, reasonably priced, quality leather bands.

And now, they've just launched their latest collection...

  1. 1

Just like their Caiman Series bands - these look absolutely gorgeous.

As with all their bands, you can tell they were carefully designed to the tiniest detail by Longvadon in Europe. Every fraction of an inch and width has been deliberately designed to instantly turn your Apple Watch into a true style statement.

  2. 2

All bands come with Longvadon's signature 'Butterfly' deployant clasp.

If you look at actual luxury leather bands used on traditional ultra high-end watches such as a Patek Philippe, a Jaeger-LeCoultre or a Rolex then you'll quickly see that they all use deployant clasps instead of regular Ardillon buckles for their added security and elegance. Therefore all Longvadon bands come with their gorgeous signature butterfly clasp made of jewelery-grade stainless steel.

  3. 3

Available for Him & for Her.

The Classic Series bands not only come in a variety of gorgeous leather colors and shades with various stainless steel finishes to complement all of the different Apple Watch colors, but there's even a larger and thicker men's version and a thinner more elegant women's version as well.

  4. 4

Their ultra-soft suede lining make them extremely comfortable to wear.

Just like the Caiman Series -> These bands come with an ultra-soft suede bovine leather lining on the inside to guarantee a comfortable all-day wear while also giving the bands that luxurious touch that seems to be missing from all the other bands out there.

  5. 5

Made of carefully selected genuine Full Grain bovine leather.

Most Apple Watch bands out there are made of either PU Leather (polyurethane) or simply 'Genuine Leather' which often refers to the less durable, lower layers of a split animal hide. The upper layers of a split hide are called Top and Full Grain as they are closer to the actual surface of the hide and have much denser fibers that are tightly "woven" together. This makes them significantly more durable while also acquiring a beautiful patina over time. All Classic Series bands use only Full Grain (the highest-grade) leather as opposed to the cheaper, less durable Split, Bonded or PU (faux) leather options.

  6. 6

It was started by watch enthusiasts with real experience in the watch industry.

Longvadon was founded by a couple of French brothers with a real passion for watches. As one of them; Robin, had just sold a watch company he'd been part of founding and was looking for a new project to take on, he convinced his photographer/filmmaker brother Sebastian who'd also worked on their previous watch brand to join him and together they headed down to the French Riviera and created Longvadon.

  7. 7

A true luxury product - at a reasonable price.

The hallmarks of true luxury shopping experiences are quality products, speedy delivery, above & beyond customer service and serious attention to detail. From their 3-5 day free tracked shipping (ships from within the US), to their luxurious unboxing experience, to their truly above and beyond customer service - the Classic Series bands are by every measure an absolute steal at only $89 a pair.
