Start by placing your Apple Watch face down on a padded surface or soft cloth to avoid scratching the glass display.
How to Change Your Strap
01. Start by placing your Apple Watch face down on a padded surface or soft cloth to avoid scratching the glass display.
We suggest attaching the shorter band on the slot that is closer to the Digital Crown.
02. Press down on and hold the band release button, allowing you to slide out your current band in either direction; detaching it from the Apple Watch. The band should come out without struggle.
03. Slide in your new Longvadon bands into the slots. You will hear a faint ‘click’ when the bands are in place.
How to Change Your Buckle/Clasp
QUICK RELEASE 2.0
01. Locate the quick-release spring bar at the “buckle-end” of the shorter strap. Slide the knob to the side to release the buckle or clasp off the spring bar.
02. Place your desired buckle or clasp in its place by pulling the same knob to the side and releasing the knob so that the spring bar locks into the little hole at the end of your new buckle/clasp.
How to Use the Clasp
Pry open the small “buckle” with the LONGVADON logo on it located on the end of the clasp.
Run the longer watch strap (the one with holes) through the buckle and slide the little pin that’s inside the buckle through the appropriate hole in the long strap, determined by the size of your wrist.
Slide your hand through the watch bands and twist your wrist so your palm and the butterfly clasp is facing up towards you, with the Apple Watch facing down.
Attach the shorter-strap side of the clasp by gently pressing it towards the center of the clasp, until you hear a ‘click’.
Feed the longer band through the keepers (the two small loops) on the shorter strap. It’s best to do this before moving on to the final step.
Gently press on the LONGVADON logo on top of the clasp to attach the other side of the butterfly clasp and voilá, it’s secured!
To release, simply press both side buttons on the clasp simultaneously and you can slide your watch on and off your wrist with ease.
Rubber Care & Handling
CAOUTCHOUC VULCANISÉ
The Voyager band was designed for adventure. That’s why it uses particularly strong NBR rubber, recognized for its ability to withstand punishing temperatures and pressures far beyond what the average rubber strap could handle.
By taking proper care, you can expect your band to far outlast the use of your Apple Watch.
We recommend that you:
• Do not pierce, slash, or cut the band with sharp objects such as blades, scissors, or knives.
• Rinse your strap with fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth after any exposure to salt water or chlorine.
• Never apply rubbing alcohol or other astringents.
• Avoid direct application of aftershave, perfume, or cologne as they can stain and dry out the rubber.
• Rinse after any excessive sweating.
• Do not twist or stretch the band to the point where its structural integrity is compromised.
• Do not leave out or dry the rubber in direct sunlight.
Cleaning Instructions
HOW TO CLEAN THE RUBBER
01. To clean your rubber strap, remove the strap from your watch entirely.
02. Fill a bowl or your sink with warm water. It’s best that the water is lukewarm to warm, as opposed to hot.
03. Next, add some soap to the water and leave your rubber strap to sit in the warm soapy water for a few minutes. This loosens any remaining dirt and grime.
04. Use a very soft toothbrush (such as a soft kid’s toothbrush), put soap on the toothbrush, wet it and gently scrub the rubber strap with the brush so as to remove any remaining dirt on the surface. Once done, rinse the band off with water.
05. For stubborn stains (if the above didn’t do the trick), you may want to use acetone or baking soda + water however this should be a last resort. Acetone can remove color from some straps and baking soda can be too abrasive if too much pressure is applied. So use those methods with great care.
06. Once the strap has been washed, simply dry it off with a soft towel and allow it to dry in a cool space, out of direct sunlight.
If you’re not very active, this is best done every few weeks, however more often if you regularly exercise with your watch.
HOW TO CLEAN THE BUCKLE/CLASP
01. Start by detaching the buckle/clasp from the strap using the quick-release spring bar.
02. Cover the surface of the bowl with aluminum foil and drop in one tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of baking soda.
03. Next, pour in lukewarm even slightly hot water, and mix until murky.
04. Drop your buckle/clasp in the mixture and gently stir without damaging the metal.
05. Use a soft toothbrush (such as a soft kid’s toothbrush) and gently scrub the metal to remove any dirt or tarnish from the surface. Once done, rinse the band off with water and dry it with a soft towel or microfiber cloth.
